Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 18, 2026

Parrot Integrated (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides B2B software, automation, and systems architecture services from British Columbia, Canada. This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) (“PIPEDA”) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”), where applicable.

1. Scope and accountability

This Policy applies to personal information we handle in connection with our website, client engagements, support channels, and related business operations. We designate internal accountability for privacy compliance and maintain practices appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we process.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is reasonable for the stated purposes, including:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors for marketing purposes. Our services are directed to organizations and their authorized personnel.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to: deliver, configure, and improve contracted software and automation outcomes; authenticate access; communicate about projects, incidents, and billing; conduct system diagnostics and security monitoring; meet legal, regulatory, and professional obligations; and enforce our agreements. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for unrelated secondary marketing without appropriate notice and consent where required.

4. Consent, limits, and retention

We obtain consent where required by law, which may be express or implied depending on context and sensitivity. You may withdraw consent where withdrawal is legally permissible, subject to contractual and legal constraints. We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, including statutory limitation periods and legitimate backup and disaster-recovery cycles, after which it is securely destroyed or anonymized.

5. Storage, security, and safeguards

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to risk, including access controls, least-privilege principles, encryption in transit where appropriate for the architecture, secure configuration practices, logging, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is absolute; we assess and adjust controls as threats and workloads evolve.

6. Service providers and third parties

We may engage subprocessors and infrastructure providers (for example, hosting, email, collaboration, observability, and payment processing) that process personal information on our instructions. We require contractual protections consistent with applicable law. We do not sell personal information. Cross-border processing may occur where subprocessors operate outside Canada; in such cases we take steps contractually and operationally to maintain an appropriate level of protection, and we document material flows as required for accountability.

7. Your rights (access, correction, complaints)

Subject to legal exceptions, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and request correction of inaccuracies. We will respond within timelines permitted by law. If we cannot disclose certain records (for example, where disclosure would reveal confidential third-party information or privileged material), we will explain the basis. You may file a complaint with our Privacy Officer. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada regarding PIPEDA matters, or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia regarding matters under BC PIPA, as applicable.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means, including posting an updated version with a revised effective date.
